2023-2024
Well done to all of runners at this years cross country.
It was a great event, taking more runners than ever before! We were all immensely proud of you. A special mention to our Year 2 girls who finished 3rd in their race. Well done everybody for trying your best!
We don't like Cricket! We love it!
Well done to our Year 2s on a fantastic cricket festival in the sun!
Football Festival
WOW! What a fantastic Wednesday, both our Year 1 and 2's had a great time at Testwood taking part in the yearly football festival! The girls team did brilliant in the morning and the boys weathered the rain brilliantly in the afternoon! Have a look at some great action shots!
Well Done to our Indoor Kurling Team!
They thoroughly enjoyed trying out some new skills in this years Kurling festival. Take a look at them in action!
Festival Fever!
This week our festivals begun. The children have been able to participate in both infant agility and dodgeball this week. They have represented the school brilliantly and it was great to see our Year 1s at dodgeball for the first time! Well done, we look forward to the upcoming festivals!
Autumn 2 - Sports Round Up.
Another great half term for Pe at Eling. The children have thoroughly enjoyed learning new games and performing Dance in both Great Fire of London and Diwali. We have had lots of opportunities to try new things in club and had a brilliant time in the garage! A highlight of the half term was our Dance for Children in Need!
Autumn 1 - Sports Round up.
PE has had a great start to the year. The children have loved having Chance to Shine coaches in to help us build on our cricket skills in lessons as well as learning lots of new skills and knowledge around gymnastics. Clubs have got off with a bang and lots of children have experienced new sports in Try it Tuesdays after school clubs. We also welcomed a coach who taught some of our Year 2s to become Sports Leaders which is being replicated at break times! This week children had a fab time doing some archery. I look forward to seeing the children's successes in PE this half term.
