Dear Parents and Carers
I am very pleased to be able to share with you the report from our recent Ofsted inspection. I am thrilled to confirm that our school remains a 'Good' school overall, which is fantastic considering recent changes to the inspection regime. The threshold for 'Good' is much more difficult to attain than was the case when we were last inspected in 2011.
The report states that the 'needs, education and well-being of pupils is at the forefront of all we do'.
The report also acknowledges the school's 'high expectations about the quality of teaching and learning' and the 'strong working partnership with parents'. I am also very proud that the children's 'good behaviour' was recognised. Several parents stated how much their child ‘loves coming to school’ – this is a joy to hear!
Together with the inspector, we were able to identify a few areas to develop even further, and I have no doubt the school will meet these targets, and continue to move from strength.
Finally, I would like to thank you all for the honest working partnership we share helping your children to achieve their very best. What a great team we have! A big thanks to all staff who are ‘proud to work at the school’! I hope you enjoy reading what is a really super report and one we should all be rightly proud of!
