Youth and Families Matter run a series of parenting courses aimed at equipping parents and carers with the skills and confidence to build healthy positive families. These courses are free to attend and are run at regular intervals throughout the year. 10 week course

Parenting Puzzle is designed for parents of primary aged children. It encourages and supports parents and carers to enjoy bringing up children and helps them to get the best out of family life.

Managing your child’s angry feelings

Six week course

Managing your child’s angry feelings is a course aimed at parents who would like some tips on helping them manage their children’s angry outbursts. It’s a six week course with weekly two hour sessions.

Provides evidenced based parenting programmes for parents and carers who have children aged 5-17 who:
1. Have a diagnosed Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC)
2. Have a diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
3. Are experiencing mild-moderate conduct disorder
4. Have behaviour that challenges
5. Are teenagers displaying anti-social behaviour including child to parent violence
