School Closures

School will always remain open where possible.

 

It will close if:

  • It is dangerous for staff or children to get to school, or get around the school site 
  • There are insufficient staff to open safely 
  • A majority of staff and pupils are unable to get to school 

 

A decision will be made as early as possible in the morning, to enable as much notice as possible to be given to parents, and parents will be informed via email and text message. 

 

PLEASE visit our school website. This will be updated as soon as we know, and will continue to be updated with the latest information.  

 

PLEASE visit Hampshire County Council School Closure website. This is especially helpful if you have children at two or more schools. 

 

PLEASE listen out for messages on local radio. They will broadcast a list of schools closed. Wave 105FM and Radio Solent will also publish a list of schools closed on their websites. 

 

PLEASE DO NOT RING THE SCHOOL: There will be no one on site to take your call.
