I can't believe the year is over. I have had a great year teaching the seahorse class! Thank you everyone, children, parents, carers and my team. I have so many memories of this year and will miss everyone. Sorry I can't be there on the last day, but I know you will have a super last day. I hope you all have a great summer and I will see some of you in September.
THAT IS THE END OF THE 5TH HALF TERM!
What a half term it has been! I want to say a huge well done to the year 2 children in the class who completed their 'quizzes' this half term. It showed me how amazing and grown up they all were and how much progress they have made. Thank you year 1s who have also been working really hard getting ready for their phonic quiz. What a great class I have! I hope everyone has a lovely half term break and that the weather stays amazing. ONE MORE HALF TERM TO GO! Don't forget to read the new curriculum leaflet and knowledge organiser for our new topic, 'Terrific tales.'
Welcome back! We hope you had a great Easter. Welcome to the summer term. Please read the knowledge organiser and curriculum leaflet below to find out what we are learning this half term.
Thank you for everybody who came to round up! This half term has been a long but successful one. We sadly said good bye to Mr G and he would like me to say thank you to everyone who has supported him in his placement in Seahorses. Next half term we will be focusing our topic onto a wonderful world, please see above for what we are learning. Thank you for all your kind wishes and I will personally see you beginning of Week 3 and can't wait to find out all they have been doing. Have a lovely Half Term.
Thank you for all those who walked with us or met us at the church. It was lovely to see all the children together. Well done for all the readers who helped retell the Christmas story. It has been a long two weeks but the children are still singing our Christmas songs beautifully. We hope you all have a brilliant Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Well done everybody for such an amazing first half term back in school. Me and the Seahorse team have been so proud of all the children and how they have transitioned into Year 1 and Year 2. They have thoroughly enjoyed the Space topic and we are looking forward to amazing animals next half term. The curriculum leaflet and knowledge organiser are above for information about it all. Thank you to those who came to see our round up, harvest festival and parents evening. It truly has been a busy but exciting end to this half term. Enjoy a nice weeks break and I look forward to seeing Team Seahorses back on Tuesday.
Well done Seahorses.
Welcome back! The children have settled back into Seahorse class brilliantly. Both myself and the other teachers have been so proud of them all. We will be setting off next week into Space to launch our first topic of the year and we can't wait to get going! If you have any questions feel free to speak to me at the door! Well done Team Seahorses, I can't wait to see what this school year brings!
